AFSCME SCHOLARSHIP WINNERS

              

Another Council 2 Member Dependent Wins AFSCME Family Scholarship

Congratulations to Payton Odom, daughter of Member Lisa Odom from Local 1811JPD – Snohomish County Juvenile Probation. Payton is one out of only 12 winners nationally to be awarded the 2022 AFSCME Family Scholarship, which will provide her with $2,000 a year, renewable for up to 4 years. 

Payton will be studying Business Administration at USC (University of Southern California) Marshall School of Business. She was invited to their Global Leadership Program to help foster knowledge and learn about the global impacts of business. She plans to continue to be a social justice advocate in her new college community.

We are very proud of our member dependent's accomplishments and wish her all the best in her future endeavors.
